Coco Babe (2026)

Coco Babe is a plant-based frozen dessert brand built around indulgence without compromise. The brand reimagines nostalgic, crave-worthy flavors through a gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan lens. This project explores how to position an allergen-conscious product as aspirational rather than restrictive.

THE PROBLEM

The plant-based ice cream aisle is crowded — but emotionally flat.

Most brands lean into one of two territories:

  1. healthy and sterile (low-calorie, low-sugar, clinical wellness)

  2. indulgent but chaotic (overloaded packaging, novelty-first flavors)

What’s missing is a brand that feels:

  • Indulgent but elevated

  • Allergen-conscious without shouting it

  • Visually cohesive across bold flavors

  • Designed for adults, not “health food” shoppers

THE CHALLENGE:

Create a plant-based frozen dessert brand and packaging that feels premium, joyful, and emotionally nostalgic — while remaining gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, and ideally top 8 allergen-friendly.

THE STRATEGIC APPROACH

1. Build from a Consistent Core

Every flavor uses:

  • Coconut cream base

  • Organic agave as the sole sweetener

  • No dairy, gluten, soy, or artificial additives

This creates operational and messaging clarity.

2. Flavor Strategy: Nostalgia Reimagined

Each flavor is familiar — but slightly unexpected.

  • Banana Brownie Pudding → comforting, fudgy, classic

  • Strawberry Matcha Cookie → soft femininity with an earthy edge

  • S’mores Coconut Campfire Crunch → s’mores reinterpreted.

3. Packaging Positioning

Coco Babe balances:

Front-of-Pack Tone:

  • Confident

  • Creamy

  • Crave-led

  • Slightly cheeky

Support Badges (Clean + Clear):

  • Always Gluten Free

  • Always Dairy Free

  • Always Vegan

  • Sweetened with Organic Agave

The allergen-friendly story becomes reassurance — not the headline.
