Bygone Hotel – Lifestyle Campaign (2025)
Role: Art Director — Concept, Visual System, Shot Direction

I crafted a narrative-driven lifestyle world for Bygone Hotel, blending fashion, hospitality, and cinematic storytelling to bring the brand’s nostalgic, elevated vibe to life.

Starting from the insight that the hotel experience is as much about mood and story as it is about space, I developed a visual language centered on textured environments, period-inspired props, and curated fashion looks that felt aspirational yet lived-in.

I led all visual development—creating moodboards, selecting models and outfits in collaboration with stylists, designing sets with the set coordinator, and directing on-set movement and composition to capture cinematic, layered shots. I supervised lighting choices, framing, and post-edit collaboration with video editor Gwinneth Jones to ensure the final story felt immersive and coherent.

The result was a rich, aspirational visual campaign that elevated Bygone Hotel’s brand identity, delivering a cohesive world across lifestyle, fashion, and hospitality touchpoints, while positioning the property as a destination that tells a story beyond just its walls.

Guest Experiences

I developed the concept for a weekly mixology class at the Byonge Hotel to boost weekday occupancy and engage both guests and the local community. The idea centered on creating a “third space” vibe by incorporating the hotel’s garden and farm-to-table ingredients into an experiential cocktail program. Guests were guided through the garden, watched the bartender demonstrate three cocktails, and then got hands-on behind the bar to make their own drinks. I also designed a take-home postcard with a QR code linking to all recipes and syrups, extending the experience beyond the hotel. I additionally developed concepts for a paint-and-sip plate craft, a DIY “solo do anytime” experience, and a bouquet-making class—allowing guests to get hands-on, relax, and reset, while also providing perfect options for corporate retreats seeking interactive activities.

The concept helped the hotel draw local visitors, increase Thursday night occupancy, and foster a community-focused, experiential hospitality experience while highlighting its culinary and cocktail offerings.
